Description: The objective of this research project is to investigate new mechanisms for searching for and exploiting flaws in computer systems, specifically microarchitectural or operating-system flaws.
Subprojects:
Investigation of microarchitectural flaws for information leakage and execution control;
Use of machine learning mechanisms for fuzzing acceleration for attack surface assessment in operating systems and virtualization environments;
Security as a Service for MEC-enabled applications;
Investigation of the cyber-physical impact of digital artifacts on critical infrastructures;
ML-enhanced malware development & detection;
Vulnerability research in Baseband infrastructure;
Reverse engineering applied to the interoperability of hardware and computer systems.
